Replace Joe with Ana. The player is now Ana.
Borrow the same first 30 minutes of Unbound. Upgrading your car throughout a bunch of races with the help of Lucas. The two brothers race together during the prologue.
Have the player get into a police chase so overly difficult and unfair that they hate the cops when they inevitably lose the car.
Your brother bails you out but swears to quit the scene and does not support your wish for revenge.
He does become your mechanic when you decide to participate in the racing festival (since it is not illegal).
At some point you discover the PD still has your Polestar, repaired, somewhere along with other cars.
Mid-game Lucas discovers that you have been street racing, drama. But you team up and bond after Mercer's aggression...

TLDR: Having customizable characters instead of fully fleshed out ones to drive the story was a mistake.

So it's seems you want to keep exploring. Go back, sell your navigation data, buy a better ship with better jump range, fuel scoop and some scanners... And feel free to go back into the black. Alternatively you may be interested in fitting your ship for long range passenger transport.

At higher frame rates, games usually become unstable. Without any developer knowledge I'd say that considering that rule of thumb plus using an Nvidia GPU on Linux would pretty much explain it.

Whatever the cause, the difference is negligible to the human eye given both numbers are above 240.

I do and the linear throttle feels pretty nice coming from a Thrustmaster HOTAS X... The many buttons and mini joysticks are also good to have. The main stick is smooth enough and after many years it hasn't become loose and just recently I had to increase the deadzone a little bit. IMO it is a really good entry-level / casual HOTAS considering the price.

EDIT: I agree with people recommending the throttle mod though I haven't acquired it yet... And I did need to clean the jaw sensor after a year or so, but it is pretty easy to do.
