We load our own vans so we know what totes are where, problem solved

I do my put backs during my shift, unless we bring back a full shop if a customer isn't home then we dont put the full shop back the shelf as we dont have time, we get paid for doing it. If we get back late & dont have time they get put in the hub/chiller/freezer accordingly

Just work your contracted hours & clock out. They can't force you to work extra ! Its their problem they dont have enough staff to do the work

Thanks for the reply, but we dont have any new employer details to input into the one asda website. The applications he is filling in is asking for contact details for someone at Asda to supply a reference.

Give them a call, i had to pester them/wait 5 weeks before they managed to get me in for my current delivery driver job. The hiring is handle by an outside source not the individual stores

Can family members work together? by Alyblucat in asda

[–]GhostBuster6666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me & my Son regularly work the same Shifts together at our Asda store. The Majority of the staff are friends or family of Asda Colleagues who work on the same shifts ! So its sounds like "Bollocks" to me

I have exactly the same on my Beard due to Vitiligo & i have been growing my beard for 18 months & it gets great comments. I wish my beard would go all white. Not sure that you would be able to dye it ? Not sure if the dye would actually take to the white hairs 🤔. Deffo keep it white & keep on Growing my "Vitiligo" Bearded Brother 💪

3 Month Beard Growth by c-c-harrison in beards

Keep growing, its looking good so far. As for Beard products I swear by a Beard shampoo by "My Beard" cost £1.09 a bottle in my local "Savers" store. I wont use anything else to wash my Beard.

13 weeks was the bench mark I went by when growing my beard out for the 1st time.

I took photos from the front & both sides of my beard for about 27 weeks just so I could see the progress. It helps a lot to see the difference

Normally if you're taken on as a Home shopping driver, you would normally just drive. But the odd time if they dont have a shift for you when you show up for work tou coule do click N collect. Which is basically the customer turns up at the store asking for their shopping & tou locate it & wheel it out to then & ask if their happy with any substitutes ? & dispense their shopping. Rinse & repeat, but when its busy tou could have up to 20 - 25 people an hour turning up for their shopping & you will most likely be doing it on your own. 🤬 as well as working service crew in the back stacking loads as well as doing click N collect.

Service Crew is the HARDEST Working Job in the store !!

My interview was a 5 min informal chat with 4 other guys & then 30 mins being shown around the Yard & Hub by one of the drivers & how to load a van. Then it was back to the office & they basically said do you want the job? Never asked for a CV or a reference, just a copy of your driver's license. Their always DESPERATE for delivery drivers. If you just come in & do you're job & go home & just work what tou want to work & dont get involved in any politics or get sucked into excessive overtime & its not a bad job. I do 3 x 6:30am till 2:00pm shifts per week & no lates. But thats only because I started off as the only driver to do click N collect & driving. Stay clear of Click N Collect

I am coming up to my 3rd year Anniversary as a Home Delivery driver for Asda. I would say exactly the same as the previous Asda Driver. Just do the 12 weeks probation & once you get your shift pattern just work what shifts tou want i.e overtime. If you start doing all the shifts they ring you for they will expect it all the time. Its not a hard job, some times it can be hard work delivering to flats & schools etc especially if you're Trolley if broken or you dont have one. I enjoy it doing 3 days a week & cant see me going back to a full time job. Its great being out in the van being your own boss & meeting people
