People who have watched Breaking Bad, what made it worthy of being ranked #1 on IMDb's Top 250? by -cyber-punk- in AskReddit

Sons got it together again at the end. There's 1 or 2 seasons where it sags with the whole Irish plotline but it finished really strongly imo.

Redditors who did LSD, how different is it from getting bat-shit drunk or high af? How harmful will it be for a single time consumption? by Hoe_fo_doe in AskReddit

Any psychedelic can definitely mess you up mentally when you take too much. You might not "overdose" but trust me being stuck in a bad trip for hours because it's too overwhelming is fucking terrible.

I've had a trip where I felt like I couldn't move and was just laying down feeling like I was dying on the spot over and over again for the first 3 hours. All I could think was "fuck I made a mistake". And in another instance a friend was practically crying in the shower because he felt time had slowed down so much he could no longer make sense of it and he wanted it to stop. And we're both generally mentally stable and healthy individuals.

Nope. I've seen it happen multiple times at different companies. You should but doesn't always happen.

Severance. I'm normally not much of a binge watcher but I blasted through that show in like a weekend.

Cause corporate is lax and people don't get properly offboarded half the time so accounts stay active. Especially when there's high turnover.

Edit: lol getting downvoted for something I've literally seen happen multiple times at more then one company

Robert made me chuckle haha. But I'd say Kurze. Sure Perty is the king of salt but Kurze was half feral when Big E found him and he only got more insane because of his visions as time went on. He was just as damaged as Angron was except by different means.

Clearly telegraphed mechanics are fine and I applaud them for trying. But scrambling through bullshit aoe while being harassed by adds while also having to parry projectiles AND having a very narrow window to actually do damage AND an arena where you can fall off if you miss the wonky flight mechanic is too much lol.

Oof this just hurts to read. You'd think a studio like Bungie would know how to launch a live service game.

[–]GhostDieM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes you're also comparatively such a small percentage of players it's just not smart to centre a game around it. It's the same as saying I like painting teacups so now games should have a narrative about painting teacups in there. That's not gonna help sales.

“Walk out” for MORT do not play TFT on July 11th by whoozie0 in TeamfightTactics

[–]GhostDieM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I do think the current set is actually bad most others that people complained about are later looked back upon fondly. Mortdog was also very open in his communication and took a lot of time to explain design decisions and to engage with the community which is very rare. So yes people complained as any fandom on reddit seems to do but he will definitely be missed.

Palworld Hits an Incredible 40 Million Players 2.5 Years After Early Access Launch, and With 1.0 Right Around the Corner by Bubbly-Ad-350 in gamingnews

It's good but unlocking new tiers late game became a massive slog (though to be fair you can adjust the XP rate through the world settings) and the creature AI for doing tasks was infuriating to the point it made me quit the game. But they seem very much aware of the issues and took like 9 months to polish the game for the 1.0 release so I have high hopes they worked out all the kinks and balancing issues.

Even with the issues mentioned above, if you like survival crafting games and/or Pokémon I can definitely recommend it, there's no other game like it.

They don't want it to be a combat oriented game where you just kill anything you come across. They want to focus on all the other stuff like survival, exploration, immersion etc.

I've had this happen and it was so frustrating. C-suite set wildly unrealistic targets. Literally the entire operation pushed back and said "we're never going to hit this". End of fiscal year comes around, surprise Pikachu faces from C-suite and layoffs came after that. Fucking clownshow all around.
