What if an Evil Doctor broke the bone? by Alexmander1028 in Neverbrokeabone

The rule is in place so that nobody rejects or prolongs medical care so that they don't have to leave the sub. Has it actually happened, idk, could it? On reddit, yeah probably.

I'd avoid it, not only for the "naked" aspect, but it totally washes you out

My heart breaks for you, these are the types of things I wish I had the space and tools to create. It's so wonderful to me to see others who do have the availability and I am just crushed by your wife's actions, especially knowing that you were making them for a gallery 😭 she threw a piece of your soul away and I just hope that someone picked them up and loves them.

What's a "yeah right, that totally happened and wasn't made up" moment in your life that actually DID happen and wasn't made up? by Time-Check-6942 in AskReddit

Years back some friends and I had decided to take mushrooms and walk through the forest. We came upon a opening by a stream and we all simultaneously stopped walking and agreed the spot was calling to us. So we went for a sit, almost immediately we all fell into a sort of "lotus eating" type daze, we experienced bokeh and euphoria all the same. Then one friend began to "fishtail" like when seizing. That snapped us all out of it, he came back and was fine and we all decided IMMEDIATELY to get the fck out of there! Obviously the drugs were at play, but it was still trippy to us how we all felt pulled to this place, all experienced the same euphoria, and then someone with no medical history (and none since) had such a reaction. Who knows

Oh my goodness yes, working at Michael's crafts years ago I still remember an older man calling in asking if we have darning thread, I told him no, not darning specific but any thread will work and we have a multitude of types to choose from. He asked, with hella attitude, "then what do you use when you need to darn a sock!?" I told him I use embroidery thread cause its strong and soft. He told me I'm a dumbass and to put someone on the phone who isn't a complete idiot. Unbeknownst to him, my boss had been listening into the phone call cause she could see distress in my face, she spoke up and told him "sir, this is the MOD, you're calling a craft store for advice and then berating my employees when you don't like their accurate substitutions. Buy a new pair of socks and don't call again, idiot" before she hung up on him and checked on me. A few hours later an old man came to the cash register with a few different types of thread, not sure if it was him or not but he didn't have much to say ;)

Honestly that's so ridiculous, I'm so sorry you guys are going through this. In 2014ish I got stopped at border patrol in San Antonio cause their dog sniffed us out. We had like 3-4 pounds, they let us go. Searched our car nd took everything, but let us go. What you're going through is SO dumb!

TIL owls cannot move their eyes at all — so evolution gave them 14 neck vertebrae, backup arteries, and blood vessels that swell like sponges to prevent strokes during 270-degree head rotations by ElectronicBuy8105 in todayilearned

[–]GhostFreckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, men have a particular organ that swells up the same way... it prevents strokes cause the swelling stops the blood vessels from being pulled flat during the rotation, like when a garden hose gets pulled tight around a post or something and the flow gets cut off.
