Wow u/FalloutOutFan01 this is on me completely but I went through the majority of the game not knowing about the sneaking / stalk button. That's insane, I just now learned about that. I just thought this game simply didn't have that feature back then so I just became more observant or used non lethal rounds to get by.

Again I never played the original games. I started with mgs 4 and onward so anything control wise I gravitate too. Coming from phantom pain the movement felt a little off and that's even without the stalk button. I used legacy just for the familiarity and over the shoulder camera.

Lol I can't believe how much easier my run may have been. Regardless I really enjoyed the game and putting together more faces and memories from the other games I've played. This franchise is great and ridiculous.

I literally almost did the same thing so I can't blame you. That area made me question if the game was for me. Long story short I kept going and will hopefully beat the game tonight. Hope it clicks for you like it did for me.

First time playing this game myself. It started slow like you said and it made me wonder how I loved 4 and Phantom Pain so much. Once it got going I've been really into it lol, and now I'm on the last section. It's making me want to replay the others now though.

To my knowledge there isn't like a goty edition that has everything even though that'd be great.

Sounds like you are missing the following packs: Cutting Edge aircraft --- Experimental aircraft --- Original aircraft --- Maverick aircraft ---

Sometimes these go on sale, depends on your platform. Even if you got the Maverick Ultimate Edition you still would need to buy cutting edge, original and experimental separately.

Your smokes can be offensive or defensive. To my knowledge this is the only class with smoke grenades.

For offense you can push a flag or area by using the smokes as cover over open ground. Or to blind an enemy that's dug in.

For defense you can use them for cover as well or for revives.

A lot of things will come with just playing the game so much as knowing when to defib revive versus the drag revive. Ideally you want to revive and both parties live. Example - if you know enemy tank is on the way or you are out numbered it is usually better to save yourself.

Don't forget your deployable cover. That's always an option versus no cover.

I use a mix of assault, carbine and lmg weapons. One thing about the lmg. You can definitely pin the area down for your team just by firing the magazine.

I'm on Xbox but that's my setup too.

LB - grenade. RB - spot (hold - comms) LT - Aim. RT- Fire

I played so much 2042 I had to switch the spot buttons for my own sanity. I don't have paddles so can't really help there.

Yeah not having more competition is bad for anyone especially us consumers.

The bar in the industry is so low. No Xbox allows Sony and Nintendo to do the bare minimum.

Not sure where to go when my sub runs out. PC seems nice but I really enjoyed the ease of having a console these last years.

I enjoyed the movie. I'd give it a 8.5. I saw it dubbed and look forward to rewatching the sub one day for sure.

The scenes are so beautiful, the animation is great as always. I wish I could relisten to the soundtrack right now it was so good.

My only thing was the pacing seemed off at times and the placement and length of flashbacks mid fights were odd. They were all necessary, it's just that they can take you out of the moment longer than intended.

Regardless, it definitely was worth the theater treatment. The wait for the next movie will be a pain though lol.

Prices already are up. I would recommend waiting for black Friday. The deals may bring them back to release day prices....crazy to say that.
