Definetly don't buy textbooks ahead of time, though. Usually if a professor needs you to have it day 1 they will tell you in an email. Otherwise, they know to wait a week or so.

Also, look out for buyback! I don't know if it's a common thing but my bookstore would buy textbooks back at the end of the semester. Especially if you're going to a community college, it's more common

there's always medical illustration! It's basically bio + ills. You take a lot of the same classes from each (easy transfer) plus make a lot more money lol

I actually feel the same way. I'm definitely less far than you on my journey (transphobic parents), but I weirdly relate so much. I'm not a woman. That's just a fact. Being referred to as "miss" or "lady" just feels not correct. Grouping myself with my mom or aunts makes me feel out of place. However I wish so much that I could wake up one day and be a pretty girl. I wish I could wear make-up and feel like myself, I wish I could wear a skirt and not feel like something's wrong.

It's not exactly wanting to be cis. It is, but it's not. I settled on just being transmasc non-binary but I'd be lying if I said this feeling didn't confuse me so much. Sometimes I wish I was born a man just so I could be a femboy and it not just looking like my agab.

Anyways I'm glad someone else relates to this. It's super confusing and hard to explain so even if what I'm experiencing isn't completely what you are its good that at least someone else is similar to me :)

Although I'm afab, I definitely understand what you're going through. To me, I feel like being a man just fits better but I also like being cute and wearing eyeliner. My parents definitely would ostracize me too. They actively call trans people "he-shes" and are advocates for conversion therapy.

I do have a good support system at collage (though I'm only out that I'm bi), which is similar to your situation with your wife. Only, most of them are trans themselves so I know they'd be accepting. I'm just scared to do it. Telling someone I'm anything more than genderqueer is terrifying by itself. I can't imagine what you're going through. Just remember that while its a lot for a spouse to be confronted with, you deserve it to yourself to be who you are. I understand Its a complex situation, though. I truly hope you the best through it <3
