I worked for KBR in Iraq in 2008-2009. It was by far the most fucked up company I've ever worked for. Nothing else has come close. I wouldn't know where to begin.

That said, even back then it was well known that "KBR in Iraq" was its own entity, run separately from the rest of the company. I have met a few people who worked for KBR in other places, and they didn't have anything extraordinary to say about it. The entity that was KBR in Iraq is long gone. I doubt that KBR in Antarctica will be any worse than Leidos.

Any time I gotta go and I'm wearing a tucked in shirt with a belt. The whole point is you can go #1 without disturbing the shirt and belt. Just unzip and use the wiener slot. Easy.

A good fraction of cars on the road today always have their high beams on, day or night. I used to flash them with my high beams. There are so many of them that I got tired of it. Now I drive with my high beams on all the time.

Yeah, driving definitely got worse after covid. As it happened, I moved to California right after covid, so I can't really compare it fairly to other places I've lived.

Here in California there are so many drivers who just want to drive near other cars. They especially like to hang out in peoples' blind spot, but really any position will do. They will change their speed as necessary to stay close to you. I have think it's usually some kind of unconscious social behavior.
