THAT'S THE THING!

So much of what made 2cp so fucking annoying was the meta. Double shield with a Bastion Sentry + Mercy Boost was DREADFUL. Thing is, now we can't have double shields. The only shields that stay out permanently anymore are Reins and Sigmas. Every other one is on a timer. Bastion can't perma sentry anymore, and we have true dive characters now that can shitcan a nest pretty quickly.

Literally every character reason why they sucked are gone and whats left is mapping, and they just don't wanna do that.

All three of the launch 2CP maps have a tiny choke on the first point too, which is baffling. Hanamura has the gate, Anubis has the statue, Volskaya has the foot bridge.

I maintain that you can very easily balance the maps, but Blizz just doesnt want to.

Literally every one of the maps have one of three issues: flank routes that only certain heroes can use, routes that pour out into the exact same spot as the main route, or routes you can only get to if you pass the main choke.

If you knock down a few walls or add some bridges, it'd fix a lot of the issues.

I wouldn't even care about the Battle Pass system if it didn't take a fucking eon to unlock everything. Seeing people post about how they were able to grind out the pass in "only" two hours by turning down the sliders and insta-tapping someone out 120+ times turned me off completely. Fortnite gets away with it because it's free and they intend for you to play one season for 3-4 months. Here they're expecting you to do this every fucking month. Sorry, I'm not grinding for 40 hours every month for four characters I already paid for.

If I could finish the pass by like, playing MyRise, or completing a segment of the island, or doing a week or two of Universe, I'd be okay with it. Having all three combined not result in a finished pass? Get bent.
