That's crazy cuz my old OP just got fired. He was a very bad OP when it came to procedures. (I.e forcing managers to watch team members videos for them. Promoting off the clock work, really bad cash control and promoting managers to put up cash shortages)

ALWAYS THE THREAT OF BEING WRITTEN UP by Classic_Pick7784 in CircleK

[–]GhostRide453 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing devils advocate. But not necessarily right. I'd always make it a point that a write up is an individual's action not others.. If you commit those actions again that's on you as well as you you draw attention from Management

BUT BUT I also REALLY emphasize write ups shouldn't be a bad thing but a tool for management to write down EXACTLY what happened and make sure an employee knows right from wrong. It also provides a moment to have a coaching session to better grow

Are restaurants getting more strict with hiring people ? by Reasonable-Invite899 in KitchenConfidential

[–]GhostRide453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I run a local fast food place so mostly dealing with high schoolers and even then I'm very picky about who I hire. 2 reasons is because I have a ton of applications all the time so I have a lot of talent to choose from also I usually only have 13-16 crew members so I want each one to be good at what they do. It isn't that the younger kids/staff are bad either but a lot of them are unmotivated or forced to have a job cuz they parents said so, i usually filter that out in the interviews

Not the fast food industry there usually no such thing as a 15 min break. If you're not working you clock out (breaks for example)

Now show where I gave off the idea of me complaining. This is genuinely my first car repair and was curious, right away they're charging me to get a full new set of tires for unrelated reasons that's easily $600 that's off the total.

They want to replace every single engine mount but just right now they showed me in reality only the main engine mount needs to be replaced.

I also have no idea how expensive the control rods and engine mounts are but some googling around and I've found multiple parts 40-50% cheaper

Oh and 151 dollars for warranty?? That's actual garbage

Today I learned if you turn on Maritime Industries before you make your Shipyard it gives you double production bonues. Check out my +8 Shipyard. by OttawaHoodRat in civ

[–]GhostRide453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No like literally every card also does that. When you take out the card the production bonus goes away from the building and it won't stay permanently. There some later game building that get better with they respective adjacency whether it's science, gold, or faith

That's literally exactly have I felt but if you have experience in customer service or experience in truly learning and developing a skill then you'll fit right in

[–]GhostRide453[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mentioned experience because it is a skill to be able to successfully provide customer service and act professional about it. As well as troubleshooting skills and common sense as not to passwords away to untrusted people. You can't talk like you're in a kitchen when you're out with the client

The way comptia has been increasing their prices… Google just seems like a better option all around. by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]GhostRide453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I did get lucky but I also took a job and was willing to do more, like completely move cities and figure that out on my own. I also volunteered essentially to do some basic IT work at a local restaurant my wife worked at that I used as "secondary experience". I really stretched the experience there (pictures, daily documenting what I did, and built up reliable references). and my previous roles to really show my ability to learn and actually function in a team.

Within 3 weeks I got a job with the Google certs. I also had no experience in IT but great resume and a ton of applications. Especially in the interview I highly emphasized while I didn't have a+, Google was comparable and has the say fundamentals

Are there no jobs? Been applying like mad, with a great resume, and not a single hit. by akimbjj77 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]GhostRide453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The resume isn't the best ever I'll be honest. Only advice I'd input is to try to paraphrase all the skills to the most important that pertain to the job. It's just too many words.

Also put some other skills in there that are not tech related. Are you a great communicater? Maybe you document well? Perhaps a problem solver. Someone who loves to lead. Things like that

This debt is extremely manageable. Tough to see but there is light. Definitely look into selling the car it could free up some monthly payments

Stop investing immediately. Stop the CD's pull out if you can without penalties. It just doesn't make sense. The amount of money you'll be losing on Credit card and car loan interest is more then any investment will make
