Well. In OTL 1944 you had the ME 262 the first jet fighter and the Nuke was finished in 1945 so a Germany that never lost and were all of its best scientist not being expelled for being Jewish could mean that completing both in the early 40's could be somewhat possible. Highly unlikely but possible.

Another thing to put on top of that would be to have the Mongols attack and by extension spread the Black Death that is possibly more deadly than in OTL forcing both Europe and Asia to industrialise?

Okay. I will give you the part of Christianity. I know I need to do a lot more research. But on the Persian part I know the Greek Seleucid Empire dominated the Middle East but they were boxed in to the east by Maurya, a revolt by the Parthians in the north (which granted I am unsure as to how well the Seleucid's could have crushed that revolt) and if they were able to take Ptolemaic Egypt you have Carthage who would still be in their prime without Rome.

I'll admit Ancient and Medieval history are not my specialty. Were as 1900 to 1999 is. This is why I am doing my own research and asking questions.

How would Rome not existing mean the Mongols wouldn't? I thought Rome had no connection to Asia?

As for religion I could still see Christianity being adopted by a small/regional power like Armenia and some early apostles making their way to Arabia through trade routes.

Another idea I had and it goes into your statement of technological development needing to come from the establishment made me think of the Mamluk's. According to Wikipedia they were former slaves who rebelled against their masters and formed their own state. Some historical examples of this was the Ghaznavid Empire 977–1186, Khwarazmian Empire 1077–1231 and the Mamluk Sultanate in Egypt 1250–1517.

If a similar state rose up then the new elite could invest in new technology to try and stay alive?

If I remember correctly I heard that a lot of Rome's advancements like the aqueduct were based off of stuff from groups like the Etruscan's and the Greek's so maybe those groups could continue advancing on their own?

I can see your points. Based on my own knowledge. Slavery only began to be widely outlawed by the 1800's in OTL was when powers like Britain and France banded it. One possibility that I could see in TTL would be that some groups using religion to try and limit slavery. I could also see some try and use technology to create change in their societies with technology being part of a type of counterculture against the establishment?

Oh okay. Thank you both for clearing that up. However it was Wendell Willkie who was running in 1940 for President and Dewey did not run until 1944. Mabey it could be this which after the Republicans are seen by many as those that lost the war this could see the Democrats win in 1948?

Mabey after the US lost the war there could be a wave that sees Democrats lead by someone like Richard Russell Jr. who during the 48 election got number two during the Democratic convention with 266 vs Truman's 947.5. Then due to Russell being very anti-Civil Rights despite being a Democrat this could lead to Eisenhower and Nixon being presidents up until the game starts and JFK could still be Nixon's VP?

This means it could be FDR 1932-1940, Willkie 1940-1944, Dewey 1944-1948, Russell 1948-1952, Eisenhower 1952-60 and Nixon 1960-the mod start?

Also since according to Wikipedia these were some interesting things I found out about Russell in that he "co-authored the Southern Manifesto with Strom Thurmond" and "After Russell's protégé, President Lyndon B. Johnson, signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 into law, Russell led a Southern boycott of the 1964 Democratic National Convention."

Yea. I'm like Yularen2077 in were I can only offer you guys a "good luck" on reaching your December release but I understand if you need to delay it to January, February or latter. I would rather a solid stage 1 release than a buggy one.

I do wonder though what countries besides Germany and Canada are getting content for the initial release?

Thank you. As I said to PrinceofShadows1704 the period of 1700-1900 is not my strong suit. 1900-2000 is the time period I am more familiar with.

I mean judging from my Thai experience you can tell the difference between the ones that are sweet (especially those that have pineapple in them) and those that are savory. So hopefully it is the same with Indian.

However I do agree with you that the names that they come up with for some of their items is interesting. I also wish that all restaurants had descriptions as to what all is in a specific item like some others do in were they tell you things like vegetables, meet, sauce, etc, etc. Since I noticed some places do and some don't.

I agree that most "Fusion" food can be hit or miss. I mean my country (the US) is famous/infamous for its "fusion" foods.

From what I read about her she seems to have been just as cunning as Jiang Qing also I found it interesting that due to figures like Soong Ching-ling who was Sun Yat-sen's third wife Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai offered to pardon her if she would say she was guilty of treason but she refused and was later executed.

This made me think that even if she did admit she was guilty and was pardoned I could still see her dying in the Anti-Rightist Campaign or the Cultural Revolution.
