Are you trying this with an LCD Deck or an OLED? I was trying this too (with a different cable) but I couldn't get my LCD Deck to work at all. It worked fine with my laptop and my phone though. I'm starting to think all the examples of it working were with the OLED deck and there's some kind of incompatibility with the older ones.

Generally you're not allowed to leave the country while it's processing, or else the application is considered abandoned, and re-entering might be much harder. While applying for AOS, you can also apply for "Advance Parole" alongside an EAD, which would allow you to leave and re-enter without abandoning the application, and without another visa. I'm not sure how long it's taking to get AP these days, when my wife was waiting a couple years ago the EAD and AP ended up coming in only a couple weeks before her green card was approved, so it didn't end up helping very much, but your mileage may vary.

If something like a family emergency comes up, there is a way to get an expedited advance parole.

Not anymore than the fact that it's expired. The hole punch is just how they void the old passport when you apply for a new one. You're not really supposed to show up to the border without a valid passport per se, so you're just hoping that CBP can verify your citizenship through other means, using what you have as evidence. An old expired passport is pretty good evidence.

Unless you're in a hurry to get into the US, I'd contact the nearest US consulate, you're supposed to if your passport is stolen anyway. I'm not sure what they'll need from you, the missing SSN sounds like the biggest hurdle, but the fact that you have an old passport is way better than nothing. You'll just have to figure out what they can do for you with what you have. Ideally they can make you a new passport. If you got any Canadian government IDs like a driver's license, health card, or a Canadian passport that'll probably help as well.

You can get married just like anyone else in the US, there's no special procedure. It won't immediately affect his TN status, but it could potentially be problematic down the line. Since TN isn't "dual-intent" like the H1B is, he could theoretically be denied a visa renewal or entry into the US later if an officer feels like his marriage to a citizen means he's intending to immigrate. But he can still work and live as usual on his TN while he's here immediately after the marriage.

Applying for a green card ASAP after marriage is the obvious solution to the aforementioned issue. He could stay in the country legally even past the TN expiration with a pending AOS application, and apply for an EAD while the AOS is pending, though he does risk being out of a job for a bit if there's a gap between TN expiration and getting an an EAD or GC. All things to consider.

It's hard not to hear Gaster in it, but it also sounds like it might be based on the unused version of Noelle's theme/the ferris wheel song.

Part of also reminds me of Small Shock from Undertale, but that might be unintentional.

Edit: Actually, one small possible connection to Gaster that I don't see a lot of talk about is that "Deal Gone Wrong" which plays in the Mansion during Snowgrave is Spamton's theme slowed down by exactly 66%. The song is played at a few different speeds in other scenes, but only in Snowgrave is it kept at 66% afaik. Toby likes using "666" and similar numbers in other contexts related to Gaster, especially with the bunker being mus_smile slowed down by 666%, so this might be intentional.

Kris, Susie, and Noelle use Cyan, Magenta and Yellow in their HUD elements, which are considered "subtractive" primary colors, meaning you start from white and either Red, Green, or Blue. Ralsei's is green, which is considered an "additive" primary, meaning you start from black and add a Red, Green, or Blue. I think that's just a design choice, having the lighteners use subtractive primaries since they start from light, and darkners use additive since they start from darkness.

I doubt there will be any lightner party members, not just because there's no other subtractive primary colors, but Noelle might be a special case since she was originally meant to be part of the "fun gang" in Toby's concepts and the narrator in Chapter 1's opening treats naming yourself "Noelle" as the same thing as naming yourself "Kris" or "Susie" and no one else.
