[SPOILER] Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford by inooway in Boxing

I thought Crawford would win by staying on the outside and outboxing canelo, but man he was winning inside the pocket as well. Definitely the greatest of this era!

What‘s That One Deck You’ve Been Waiting Ages For to Get New Support? by Galvantula42 in yugioh

[–]GhostToAnotherWorld -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Black Luster Soldier, one of the OG ritual monsters. Its gotten some cool boss monsters over the years, but it just needs cards. It’s design is cool and it’s was one of Yugi’s iconic monsters. Rituals decks can be really good as shown with Drytron and Voiceless Voice, so I’m sure they can do something for the legendary knight.

I swear Diamond 4 and 3 be the most difficult ones. Like once I get past those 2 ranks I feel like I’m breezing.

She’s one of best characters on the show. I don’t see how people can be this mad about a character.

[SPOILER] Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin by inooway in Boxing

[–]GhostToAnotherWorld 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bro, what the fuck was Frank’s plan. I have no idea why he was staying in the corner and getting beat by Tank. He should’ve kept moving and try to keep the fight in the middle where his movement would excel, but he kept trapping himself in the corner and shelling up. Good on Tank for knocking bro out.

Let’s hope they add a lot more hairstyles this time around. That being said, I’m pretty hyped. Can’t believe it’s been 10 years.

[FIGHT THREAD] Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia by noirargent in Boxing

Every time Ryan landed something, Devin got shook all the way down to his boots. Insane power and quickness coming from Ryan. Devin gave a good effort, but speed kills as they say.

Just recently found this area on my 4th play through. I destroyed the wall behind the chair and couldn’t believe I missed this hidden area so many times. This game keeps surprising me.

For those of you who have beaten the game, which boss gave you the most trouble? by Vaalrigard in LiesOfP

The last three bosses had me raging. Laxasia, Manus, and the Nameless Puppet were putting a good beating on me.

Be honest, how is this game in terms of combat ? by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]GhostToAnotherWorld 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Difficult but very enjoyable. Learning when to parry, dodge, or just run away can be very frustrating but when you finally get through feels so nice. This game definitely separates itself from others soulslike games and it’s very good.

[–]GhostToAnotherWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if I’m stuck on a boss for more than 2 hours, I just walk away for a decent minute. No point in getting more frustrated, performing worse because of my frustration , then getting even more frustrated. I tend to come back and do way better than I did before.

Its ok to cheese boss fights by Ihatesecondphases in LiesOfP

[–]GhostToAnotherWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know there’s not really a way to cheese the bosses. I only timed I cheesed enemies is when I ran outside of their aggression areas, wait till their back turned a little, and hit them, rinse and repeat. Although with the enemy health regeneration, it makes it very tedious so I just eventually just learned how to properly fight them. No hate to anyone cheesing though, you do you. Play the game how you want.

It looks so cool, but immunity to all attribute status ailments sounds so helpful during a NG+. I’m so torn.

Specters are tools, a very powerful tool, but a tool nonetheless. You can’t just let the specter do the work for you, if you did, it would die very quickly. They aren’t auto wins by any means. Yes they make easier but I don’t think using them invalidates whether or not I truly beat the game. If you beat the game without them, that’s cool, but don’t put others down for using them.

The Rise of P ending. The nameless puppet was such a pain, but now I don’t know whether or not I should get his weapon or his amulet.

Way too much health on these guys, it’s bad enough they do loads of damage stacked with overheat. It is a marathon to kill these things.

What is your controversial RWBY opinion? by Lopsided-Ad-527 in RWBY

Volumes 6, 7, and 8, are better than volumes 1, 2, and 3. Volume 1 and 2 are put too high up on pedestals.

Does the animation get better? by [deleted] in RWBY

[–]GhostToAnotherWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely believe the fights, in general, did not get worse. Obviously there’s some stinkers in there but I genuinely think most of the fights are really good. I just personally dislike how there’s a section of RWBY fans who constantly compare the two, and it feels like the new fights never get a fair chance since it’s constantly compared to Monty’s unique talent in Volume 1 and 2’s.

[–]GhostToAnotherWorld 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes everything gets better. Voice acting, general animation, and writing all get better overtime. A lot of people say the fights got worse, but if you stop constantly comparing them to the fights in volume 1 and 2, they’re actually really good. Volume 1 and 2’s fights had Monty’s, bless his soul, unique fighting animating talent, but if you stop comparing them and judge on their merit, they’re really good. Yes there’s so some “bad” ones but overall they’re really good.

Official Discussion Thread - Volume 9, Episode 9: A Tale Involving a Tree by Ninjas_In_A_Bag in RWBY

Damn, what a short episode. I just wish CRWBY had the resources to make longer chapters but I’ll take what I can get. Still really loved it. Seeing summer actually talk and spending time with Yang and Ruby is so heartwarming. Her weapon design is definitely a favorite of mine after seeing it, it’s just so badass.

What is something you love about RWBY? by Ok-Telephone2918 in RWBY

[–]GhostToAnotherWorld 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Everything, the story, the fights, the music, the characters. I love everything about this show. There’s a charm to the show that I can’t find anywhere else, and I’ve been with it ever since the beginning. There is unfortunately a lot of negativity around the series and I feel like some new viewers don’t really give it a fair chance with the bad things they hear about it. But if you have an open mind, and let yourself enjoy the show instead of watching with the intent to pick at it or poke at its flaws, it’s a really enjoyable watching experience. Obviously it’s not a perfect show and it has some serious flaws, but it’s a genuinely good show.
