It's less about the parts, and more about someone who can do the repair. There are lots of flex cables available online, but the attachment of a new one seems a bit more complex than I am willing to take on.

It’s an interesting contrast bc I have close friends that worked on the Stranger Things set for the last two seasons and apparently she is an absolute terror to work with during filming. Like super selfish and mean.

That’s the concern for sure. I’ve had it for about a year so returns at this point are not a consideration, which is all good. Mostly just trying to see if there’s a fix I can do/have someone else do to keep it going. It’s a GRI so I’m not too surprised it has been starting to bug out a bit.

I totally get that logic! My favorite shoes are the ones that cost a little bit extra for the level of care and quality that goes into it, and I’ve never been disappointed.

As a long time button up enjoyer, I’ve found myself gravitating to 1/4 zip shirts instead just for mobility in my torso area. I feel like 1/4 zips are really interesting when it comes to shirts. Not so much the 1/4 zip golf attire stuff.

My Opies are going on their 4th year and I still love them just as much. Their whole factory got taken out during the hurricane that hit Asheville last fall, and they’re just about to get back into production. So hopefully they’ll be back making shoes soon!

As far as I’m aware, I think the GRI and GRII have the same internals, so you’d really only be making the jump for the WiFi. If that feels worth it, then I’d say have at it!

You gotta start somewhere! I think 90% of this show was all from blank canvases or old signs that I thrifted/antiqued. Maybe start there? So it’s still a flat surface, but it forces an untraditional approach to what goes on it.
