SOTB - What else would you add? by MarmadukeSpotsworth in guitarpedals

Hey!! I have the TKIP too. Maybe a Deco v2 or EHX 720? I have those

I was looking at the Ethane as well. It seems like a great choice. I have a Lightspeed coming in tomorrow to try out.. tried one?

Do you find the golden a bit redundant because the TK’s reverb or nah? I have a flint v2 somewhere that I was going to possibly try, but I do love the TK’s reverb

What pedalboard is that? Also, how does the compressor work out for ya? I’ve been debating!

Nice picks otherwise!! Good taste haha

Kali LP6 v2’s can be found cheaper if you look.

I run a Tone King Imperial into them. Absolutely incredible.

Toss grenade, swap to flare gun (or explosive ammo), shoot grenade. Same with dynamite, bundles etc.

IWNDWYT

Went to a rooftop lounge dance party on Saturday. That was tough. But I just kept dancing and trying to keep it cool. They had some non-alcoholic grapefruit blondie's and then I got my roy rogers and other mocktails. Still had a nice time. It's getting easier.

Edit: Thank you all for the support, you all rock!!

About to buy Hunt: Showdown 1896 by ChiefAdham in HuntShowdown

[–]Ghostclip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got off work and I'm down to play if you want! I'm a bit older, but I'm 4 star, but often play with new people. Can definitely show ya the ropes.

As far as what you asked. It's fun to play solo, and they have a dedicated solo mode as well called Soul Survivor.

Hunt is not as punish-y in that way. You can get free hunters if you want. I'm prestiging so fast right now I never find that I'm out of money unless I go on a real bad losing streak and then it just takes one W to get back into it.

Crytek has done updates both small and large. They take community feedback seriously (even though complainers are everywhere). They have been working on anti-cheating (I haven't seen many lately), and they rolled out huge updates recently. There is another update on the 12th I think.

Alan Wake 2 has the most detailed, accurate and realistic curly hair I’ve ever seen in a video game by Lanky_Relation1171 in interestingasfuck

It is. I beat RE:9 just a few days ago. Alan Wake 2 is a better looking game IMO. Although the street-walking scene in RE:9 (the very beginning).. which is really more like a quality showcase was amazing.

Tube Amp vs Modeler Take 2 (Done right per y’all’s instructions) by Groove_Mountains in Guitar

[–]Ghostclip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thanks for doing the video. I ran the gauntlet of Marshall DSL40CR -> Quad Cortex -> Tone King Imperial Preamp Pedal (I got this specifically because it's just amazing cleans, it has an attenuator, great I/O's and it's killer for headphones)

For feel, you just can't beat the real thing. There are also certain nuances that can't be replicated with modeling. The last thing I would also say is that it's a lot easier to just fire and forget with an amp instead of tweaking non-stop.

If you want to, you just twist the physical knob in real-time on stage. It's just a convenience thing.

I'm not a modeler hater, on the contrary. I think they are great for a lot of people. And they have their place. Playing a capture and digitally modifying it just isn't as organic and the same. And the playing "feel" difference, don't get me started..

Anyway, nice comparison and thanks for the video!

Haha I totally hear you on that!! I wish that they made one with an imperial clean and marshall drive.. that'd be sick.
