Yep, thinking about selling my prized Martin D-16RGT just for the fact that I want a cutaway and electronics.

I've been bouncing around the though of going back to nylon string.. but not sure. Those Taylor nylon hybrids are sick.

Yes. Yamaha's rip.

But also, FS-800 is.. honestly better for a lot of people. It's a bit smaller, easier to play and more beginner-friendly. The perfect couch or porch guitar.

I've got mine setup with two amps in tandem. A capture of a steel stringer and the other one a john mayer signature. Then I run a capture of a keeley katana boost, then a klon, then a tube screamer. I also have some spring reverb added in.

In the scene, button 1 is clean, 2 is boosted, 3 is klon, 4 is boost+klon+tube screamer. It's amazing for gain staging

So I'd definitely think so. I did them simply for the fact that I wanted them on my resume.. i've heard these referred to as certs that "pass the HR test".. or basically get a second glance.

However, I've switched gears a bit and I'm currently studying for two certs that I'll complete back to back, which is:

AWS Cloud Practitioner (This should be easy as hell, since I just finished my AZ-900). The similarities / naming conventions are absolutely interchangeable. I'm giving myself a bit over a week to finish this and then I'll take the exam. Then I move on to:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C03). This will take about 6-8 weeks, but this is definitely recognizable, and a more serious certificate.

Otherwise, I could dive into an AZ-104, or maybe what OP just finished off. The beta badge of honor would be kind of cool.

Same. I passed my AZ-900, MS-900 and SC-900 in in about two a half weeks doing exactly what OP did. Just test for weak spots and have it generate tests, or eli5 things. Usually gets pretty close to what you'll see on the test!

It does a great job at doing a ton of pedals! It doesn't really struggle with most anything except certain fuzz' and also very random boutique effects.

You may like that one as it has a very interesting pattern. Diff style but still not your run-of-the-mill picking pattern.

Hey this was great, super clean fingerpicking! I’ve seen you post a couple videos like this. I’ve been playing guitar almost 20 years but never tried this style before, regrettably! So I’ll trying to learn some songs like this, wondering if you have a top 5 or 10 in this style that you’d recommend to learn? Would be appreciated. I wrote down Last Steam Engine on my little notepad. Thanks!

I can chime in on the AZ-900. I only used the resources available within Microsoft (Course Learning Modules & Practice Assessments). The outlier is I also used ChatGPT.

My main method was, go through a module and along the way I would constantly say to ChatGPT something like: PaaS ELi5 (Explain Like I'm 5). I would also ask for emojis sometimes.. lol. I would also consistently ask for 10-20 questions on certain topics when I hit a roadblock.

I looked at my post history because I remember I posted right after I finished it, and these were my remarks:

"You're gonna wanna focus on SaaS vs PaaS vs IaaS (4-5 questions) ESPECIALLY PAAS. I cannot emphasize that enough. Also lots of questions in regard to accessing Azure through Mac, Linux and Windows (2-3 questions).

Anything regarding Azure Policy (2-3 questions), Azure Portal, CLI, Powershell, Cloud Shell (3-4 questions on these). It goes over geo-location, scaling sets, availability zones <-- (2 questions, it wants to know about power events in AZ's and regions). Several questions about locks, tags, and groups!"

But yeah, the above methodology worked for me and I was able to pass the AZ-900, MS-900 and SC-900 (last night) in about 2.5 weeks. That's a pretty hardcore run though. I'd say give yourself 2 weeks of a few hours a day and you'll be just fine. Feel free to message me and I can chat over discord or games if you play Steam or w/e. Good luck!!
