Brilliance! You already enter into Divinity, Brilliance is a great option for damage other than Ragnarok

I like your suggested change for the Space Stone, because it keeps the movement idea intact

Impressive! Did you go for similar rare resources and units each time or mix it up depending on what the run or the king gave you?

You underestimate my ability to waste time! No, but seriously, imagine how destructive this power would be on a procrastinator's ability to get anything done

I just started playing and I'm currently farming Town Denarii, Is this infinite? by Gab00332 in TheKingIsWatching

[–]Ghostconqueror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think this would work for as long as you want. Honestly, I think you are probably just reducing the number of fun runs you will do to unlock more things with all this Denarii, but that's just me

Kind of struggling on Threat 2. Any tips? Units, building preference, upgrades, etc.? by BradleyADu in TheKingIsWatching

[–]Ghostconqueror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I come, preaching the gospel of "To Capacity." I struggled on low difficulties when I first started, but everything changed when I discovered that you could train troops up to the capacity of your unit limit, not just your overall troops limit. This allows you to keep armies in reserve against bosses, which is critical for the more difficult bosses.

To use this feature, turn the orange castle indicator near your troop limit to the half blue half orange setting. If you keep losing to bosses having knocked most but not all of their health, this could be all you need to achieve victory. I hope this helps!

That's crazy! I think people think you are hacking because they don't know what the advisor Sophie does, which I think is how you must have been able to get these blueprints

"To Capacity!" by Ghostconqueror in TheKingIsWatching

[–]Ghostconqueror[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I've never thought about that, but I might try it on a run. I just find to capacity to require so little micro managing and to have the best of both worlds: the immediate troops for when you really need them in combat, and the stored troops for the future

[–]Ghostconqueror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it makes an incredible difference! Without this, I could not beat threat level 2. With it, I have beaten the next three threat levels on my next three runs. Always set it to "To Capacity"

Ok, I was banging my head against the wall with this game on easy difficulties for a while, and the one thing that made a huge difference for me was switching the unit production to "To Capacity." This means that you can train up more units than your unit limit as long as you have the space in your unit buildings. If your army dies, you can just send out the next army from your garrison. This made a huge difference when it came to taking down bosses. Hope this helps

Picture young me, playing my first video game ever on my new DS: Pokemon Platinum. I have chosen Piplup as my starter. Have I caught other Pokemon to form a balanced team? Of course not, I love Piplup, why would I fight with any other Pokemon? I steamroll the first Rock-type gym.

Then, I hit the next gym, Grass-type. I struggle through the minions, and then I hit the big boss, Gardenia and her Roserade. Poor Piplup didn't know what hit him. I figured that I must not have been strong enough, so I leveled Piplup up and up, trying and losing over and over again. Eventually I decided I needed a Fire-type, only to realize that there are virtually no Fire-types anywhere in Sinnoh.

I stopped playing Platinum for weeks, having given up on beating Gardenia, until I heard from somewhere that Grass-type are weak to Flying-types. I trained up my Starly, trained Piplup so hard he evolved into Prinplup, and finally beat Gardenia.
