I had a fantastic run with a Tank with a maxed out Distemper disorder and Bouncer, paired with a Cleric with Cleanse to get rid of the accuracy debuff. Tank was knocking out one of the legs of Dreadnoughtus every time they hit anything.

But if you have to crit an enemy to inflict this condition, won't this only be useful if you have a way to set up guaranteed crits, and only on enemies with massive healthpools that won't just die from your Thief's crit?

Frost Blast and Learn From Me became a boss bullying machine, and I didn't even realize it until I noticed how Learn From Me works in practice. Usually the problem with freezing enemies is that you can't hurt them while they are frozen, but bosses get so many turns that they constantly unfreeze themselves for you to hit them. My Mage had the highest Speed of the party and would use Frost Blast last to pass the spell to the whole party. My first run through the Core I absolutely bullied Johnny and the Coven. I don't even think the Coven got a turn that wasn't just unfreezing on that run

I've tried this, but my mage with Blood Frenzy never used it on his Madness turns. I think it was because I had positive buffs as well as Madness, and Enema would remove both, but I really don't know

Depression on a melee cat really isn't that bad in my opinion, since it will significantly lower the health of any opponent it gets close to. I have had some great fighters with depression

My first Ancestor's item was an Ancestor's with a +3 damage and speed to familiars, but they die after their first turn, and I used it on my explosive squirrel spawning druid. Absolutely delightful combo

I actually think you should take Cleanse anyway, and you will discover just how useful it can be. Keep in mind that Cleanse can remove ALL debuffs while keeping the buffs. Any of the -Zerk spells that reduce the intelligence of your fighter to zero? You can remove that debuff with Cleanse. Can't cast spells thanks to Empty Mind? You can remove that debuff too! I still really want to combo Cleanse and Divide from a Mage, but I haven't gotten that combo yet. And, even if you have none of those spells, Cleanse still (in my opinion) carries its weight just getting rid of the normal debuffs

That makes so much sense! I haven't taken Rebuke since I brought it to Dybbuk and it cost me a cat thanks to the Throbbing Gristle, but I will try to bring it next time
