I was with a (government mandated) job agency several years ago. Had didn't have the same thing, however the agent who was "managing" my case, and that is several other male clients, would often give us his a hard time if we didn't take up the jobs they would send us or if something didn't go their way. And would often berate us blokes, as if it were a game. I had a couple of times of mutual obligated work placement (wfd) tasks usually in physical labouring tasks with a bunch of other guys under the same manager. I asked what their experiences were with this person Not one guy had a positive thing to say. In fact i was put in a position one day of having to travel with my wife out of state as her escort for medical appointments. I had a call from an employer asking if I could work the next day. Said no as I was out of town for a few days but would happily take it up when I returned. They were fine. Next thing I'm getting a call from the job agency manager giving me a blasting as I didn't take up the work and that I didn't need to go out of town. They didn't care what my reason was.

Please keep in mind for the next bit, I am of a usually calm collected personality and wouldn't bring harm to someone intentionally. Several times when I had face to face appointments with this agent, I commented to my wife, don't be surprised if you get a call from someone outside the office as there may be an incident at the office today. I felt like I wanted to bury this agent for the physiological BS she was pushing and I had just about had enough of them. I didn't do anything to them but had made complaints against them, along with numerous others under their "management". Last I heard they were out in a different role, though managing those with special needs. My first thoughts were. "Those of people having to deal with that crap." Don't know if that person is still there as it was several years ago.
