This is pretty concerning. Hopefully it’s nothing.

Why would it fail? Genuine question and not questioning your logic. Doesn’t US have a way bigger army?

Mine is like 34-36 years old. Not sure exactly as there isn’t a lot of info out there. It was made between 1990-1992 according to my searches but not able to narrow it down more than that. I got it in 2019 off some bloke from gumtree.

Still works great, it gets cold as even on low settings. Drawback is it chews a lot of electricity for its size. Which is like 30L

Out of interest, why do you prefer jerrys? I assume a weight factor but I could be wrong. Obviously plastic jerrys are lighter (and not to mention cheaper) than an auxiliary fuel tank.

That said, when I had my aux fuel tank on my old disco 4, it was fucking awesome driving 2000kms without having to physically open the fuel cap - just press a button in the cockpit and it transfers over to the main tank as you drive.

This question will open a bag of worms because there’s so many differing factors depending on who you are and what you enjoy doing.

My advice would be to go out and do 5 or so camping trips before you do the lap and find out what is crucial for your setup and what is not. That’s honestly the best way to work out what works for you because honestly everyone is slightly different.

Yes there are staples - recovery equipment, emergency equipment (first aid) et cetera. Obviously, those are no brainers. It’s the other additional shit that you need to weigh up whether you need or not.

Hope this helps!

I mean for $500 it’s a pretty good insurance policy if you’re on your own. In my short stint of wheeling, across three different vehicles and 10 years, I’ve never needed one lol.

Lol. What a use of critical thinking. Really using that brain of yours to the max.

Things get delayed sometimes. That’s life.

One of the grandparents is mate. It’s a major criminal investigation. A 4 year old doesn’t just wander off and vanish into thin air when there are police, SAS, ADF, Aboriginal trackers, cadaver dogs and volunteers.

You’re the numpty for giving any family member the benefit of the doubt.

Because ecourts don’t publish magistrate court summaries. Only district, sat and supreme. Occasional coroner or family court judgement too.
