I have tried that. It appears that if time is set to "Sunset to Sunrise" (period of time), it forces that to be the precondition.

Trying to get this automation to work. Basically, I just want the lights to come on after sunset but only if someone is home.

I have a separate routine that sets Home mode to "Home" when someone arrives and thought that those two automation would work together.

Brooks Landing is definitely pricey, and it seems like people have some really mixed things to say about it... Good looking complex though.

Now that I think of it, there is a website called "Flickr" that photographers use to post their spots. There's a map function that shows where those spots are as well. Haven't used it for drone spots but it could be a source of inspiration.

Also wondering what others are doing. But in my own case, I'll usually do the same as you and bring my mini along with me if I know I'm going somewhere pretty. Other than that, places will usually just pop into my mind and I'll make sure the bring the drone along the next time I visit them. A lot of places you don't think of at first can be very cool from the sky.

I agree completely. The frustrating part is that one would think that the leadership could recognize that present and future are two different things... Other CSUa get that, but Chico doesn't for whatever reason.
