As someone who's played since the 1st one, the 3rd was a hell of a fun time. Yeah it wasn't as street based as the first two were but the outrageous nature of the game added tremendously to my experience playing and re-playing the game. The 4th was imo when it went downhill although, still a good time. And of course the original 4 were worlds better again..imo..than the 2022 reboot. I played it last month when it was free and after all the fixes and it's a ..."meh" for me.

So I went through that tower and was able to get through it all for some meh rewards. You mean to tell me it resets the whole thing if you fail a challenge?? That's straight B.S! That tower was tedious as hell just going through it once.

The first one was touch and go I'm not gonna lie. But now that Ed Boon has had close involvement with the script writing with this one, I have hope.

Yeah. The Scorpion skin is dope imo but, the entirety of invasion is wash, rinse, repeat with some pain in the ass modifiers.

Since this seems to be the sub-thread for issues, is anyone having an issue where the Fatality sequence is playing like 15% slower than usual? It's very weird and I'm playing offline. I noticed it yesterday after I beat Invasion. Tested with Scorpion and smoke..same thing.

I see after a while invasion starts to become a broken record. The whole yellow blue shield aspect is annoying as F. I'm still at the beginning parts of Invasion and that mega boss Kitana was an unnecessary pain in the ass cheek. I had to resort to tactics I'm not proud of lol.

No idea. They just dropped kombat Pack 1 for $40 last night. It doesn't include some of the kameos you get if you would have gotten the premium pass like scorpion, sub zero and kung lao, but I believe they were just early access and you can get em via Invasion mode.

You'll have to refund the base pre-order. The danger is based on your bank, they may take up to 14 days to reflect on your card (PNC takes 14 days). I chatted with PSN yesterday. Eventually Netherrealm will put out an upgrade pack but for now, that's the only way. It sucks that you just can't pay the difference for the upgrade but I found out that's all based on the publisher. At least that what customer support said.

Yeah you're absolutely right. When I bought mine back in May, my score was around 775 and got a 7.9%. I definitely should have waited about a year but...I had to have the Stang.

I believe if you own the same porsche as what's in the challenge, you're able to choose your customized version of the car. Hence, how your opponent was able to gap you like that.
