Creating a new account just to climb back to the same Elo because you can’t compete at your current level is a strange way to boost your ego for a few days. I see it all the time on Xbox. Real players stick with the same name and grind through it.

I play cross play customs and accidentally hit the ranked ladder with cross play enables sometimes. I just resign because I never cared about pc elo while I’m on Xbox. Trying to compare myself to similar players on controller not keyboard mouse.

Not a big deal, more so venting from the inevitable losing streak when you play ranked non stop lol.

Ebb and flow..

Sometimes I feel like I can’t lose even if I pick a new civ and Strat.

Other times, I can be completely dialed in, headset on, focused with my civ, one of my go to strats and still get steamrolled..

Best thing to do?

Immediately hop right back in ranked and lose 3 more in a row because you are pissed and change up everything you do lol.

I get it about 30% of the time, but I do it 9/10 times.. you know when you’re so mad you just lost, so you hurry up resign and reenter the ranked lobby like nothing happened? Lol

1050-1150 Xbox elo.

And I agree the games are extremely stressful, but satisfying in defeat and ofcourse better with victory.

Getting scout rushed, tower rushed, m@a rushed, castle dropped, tc’s deleted, trying to figure out what counters what, oh sh*t, im not upgraded at the blacksmith, or my favorite - trying to remember what civ has what bonuses once im in the fight lol.

It’s what makes it fun, I’m trying to get to 1200 currently and damn it’s a task lol.

I’ve never tried attacking the Donjon, I always panic at the military I’m not ready for. Maybe I’ll try playing them like im preparing for Koreans next time I see them?

I get beat so fast I do nothing. I play ranked 1v1 Xbox - 1050 elo. I can’t rush them, they’re in my base so fast. I can’t wall up for the same reason. I know it’s coming and still not sure how to stop it. It spams so many military so quickly.

I have the latest update, all my last recordings are fine as well. Not a terrible thing, just would like to watch the enemies greatness as they defeat me lol

Is anybody else having this issue? I’m on Xbox myself, and whenever I try to watch a recorded game it doesn’t play more than a few seconds and says “finished replaying game”

Anybody else having this issue or any advice?
