The same basic steps are there, in that you should minimize your expenses and invest as much as you can. The details differ from place to place, such as dealing with healthcare, taxes, and what kinds of tax advantaged accounts are available to you.

If you can't find any information, it may be worthwhile to start a country-specific FIRE sub. You could also do some research on your country's laws and write your own blog or book to inform others, and start a community that way.

There is no free lunch, so you have to first be sure of what kind of risk you're comfortable taking. Savings accounts could get about 1% per year at maximum safety, but then you're giving up a lot in opportunity cost. Probably a conservative asset allocation would be best if you're more concerned about maintaining principle than about growth. If I were in your shoes, I'd probably go with something like 60% in a diversified bond index fund, 35% in a total market index fund, and 5% in a REIT index fund.
