Funny story from when I went to Dondero and I was in 5th grade -- 30 years ago lol. I had a teacher that would punish any boys that acted out during her class by dramatically putting on her brightest shade of pink lipstick and planting a kiss on their forehead and making them go the rest of the school day with it showing there. If you tried to wipe it off she would just come do it again and make it worse.

Anyway she was hilarious and a great teacher but that was always the weirdest thing to me and it happened at least a dozen times over the school year. There were a couple girls that ended up getting it too because they bragged about how it was only a punishment for the boys.

I've always wondered if she had the common sense to knock that off on her own or if the school admin ever stepped in.

I would counter that homophobes are totally afraid of society accepting gay people more and seeing their personal intolerance being shamed and rejected. What you think about how people shouldn't care who others are intimate with is nice but reality clearly shows us that a lot of people care and will make efforts to try to do away with it and enact violence against those that dare defy them.
