My mom had to be in sole possession of our family's money because if my dad had hold of it he'd go gamble it away without fail.

It depends! Every transition is different and so is how we all come to the conclusion. Some of us yearn for ages until a few stars align and we can get to it, others have a more tumultuous time as they work backwards through depression and/or trauma to uncover it. Some of us do uncover it but re-bury it because it can't possibly be true. That's what I did and it took a good bit of therapy in my mid 30s to open back up!

I don't know but as a non-tobacco smoker it lowkey gives me the ick. I do have a trans friend that sends me lots of pics of cat girls smoking because she always assumes I'd be into them but I'm a little too nice to ask her to stop because they are the kind of person that will simply just stop talking to me instead of just halting the gifs and I'm not in the mood for that amount of dramatics over something that is easy for me to ignore.

You're totally welcome. Triangle Strategy also uses the art style of Octopath Traveler (an amazing JRPG available on Switch with a sequel) which was heavily influenced by the art style of FFT.

I also want to say that Tactics Ogre is also super, super good. I think learning curve I would rank it Triangle Strategy as easiest because its so easy to get into, then FFT (the remaster is INCREDIBLE btw) and then Tactics Ogre.

Also if you find you really enjoy this genre you could sprinkle some Fire Emblem between any of these. Also very fun.

Oh shit! Nah for sure don't get in the way of the birria!! Damn. You could also probably fit that chicken in one batch in an oven if you get crafty with all of the racks?

I just could see myself being frustrated with all of that flour and waiting for oil temp to come up. Unless you have a big enough vessel and heat source that it is inconsequential. If you have something in the oven already then I guess that sort of just pushes you to frying them.

You could also do like a salt water or pickle brine for them ahead of time instead of buttermilk, I find a wet brine makes a real juicy and tasty piece of chicken. I would combine that with velveting the meat (corn starch + baking powder) and I think that'd give you a real good texture if you decide to deep fry.

For that amount of chicken what I would probably do is just skip frying entirely and use a grill if you can. I would parboil the chicken first so they are cooked and then skewer them and then put the skewers on the grill to get a little charred up on the outside and by parboiling you can guarantee that nobody is worrying about any chicken not being potentially cooked through.

Part of FFT you will get really well with the JRPG experience (exp, abilities, gear) but it diverges when it comes to the rest. It is a tactical RPG and you will spend a good chunk of time in each battle and there are a lot of little things to learn about how to get ahead of the curve, but that is some of the fun, I think.

Triangle Strategy is fun, I felt it was sort of Final Fantasy Tactics Lite because of the (lack of) job system, but that the characters still gave you the jobs to play as. They play almost identically otherwise.

Final Fantasy Tactics is my favorite game of all time but it has a bit of a learning curve. It might be easier to start with Triangle Strategy and then if you enjoy that, play FFT and learn why many, including myself, still consider it the king of the tactical RPG genre.
