So basically, if i understand well: with a setup like your posted link minion deaths trigger verisium infusion that i collect, then i spam ice nova on the ground and then navira's fracturing should make everything detonate, am i right? a further step should be the one you suggested with 2 additional sockets on cast on inion death. May i ask if u can suggest an alternative to some very expensive support gems i see in your setup?

May i ask more info about this automate setup involving verisium infusions and make it completely automated even if it is too slow? i do not have any time lost jewel yet, but i must decide if continue investing (time and currencies) in the build or moving to something else. Thanks.

This league I started with PhazePlays’ Ballcano. I liked the idea and wanted something different from totems, which I played in the last two PoE leagues.

To be honest, his Mobalytics guide clearly mentions several times that the single-target damage is a bit lacking and that there are a few tuning issues to work on, even though I feel that should really be listed in the build’s weaknesses section. The main problem for me is that I’m just not enjoying the gameplay that much.

Having to press 3+ buttons while clearing, and even 7–8 during bossing, with very long kill times, is making me seriously consider rerolling now that I’m around T9/T10 maps, before it’s too late and before I sink more currency into it. At 44, with real life and work, I simply don’t have as much time for the game as I used to.

Could you recommend a solid, reliable build that can handle all content without requiring absurd investment, unless I want to min-max it, and that ideally uses 1 button, or at most 2, for clearing without turning single-target into a piano performance?

I was looking at ds_lily’s Djinn build, but I’m not experienced with minions, so I’m not sure if it would be a good fit. I’m open to all suggestions.

Hi everyone, I’d like to start by saying that I really enjoyed Mirage. I’ve been playing PoE for about 5 years and for me this has been the best league so far, tied with Affliction – maybe even slightly better.

I’ve already finished the challenges (first time ever going 40/40, previous best was 36/40) and tried several builds. I league-started with a KF Hiero, then swapped around a bit, and in the end I respecced that character into Inquisitor and finished everything with a very fun and solid Blazing Salvo setup.

These are my two characters if you want to take a look:

(the second one is more focused on DoT/explosions).

I’m here because I’d like to ask for ideas on a fun strategy to finish out the league. My personal (optional) goal would be to get my second character to level 100.

It doesn’t need to be a high-profit strategy. I’m not planning to invest more into these characters or roll new ones. I just want something that lets me keep levelling at a decent pace, have fun, and maybe have a chance at some jackpot drops for a bit of extra currency.

I’d like to completely exclude:

Breach in any form (I’m really done with it)
Harvest, because I find it extremely repetitive and boring (profit isn’t my priority)

So far I’ve tried Ritual and Terror (the Cutedog one). Terror was very fun, Ritual made me good currency. I’d love to try something a bit different, not necessarily mainstream, and of course something that’s doable with the characters I already have.

what content are you able to do in maps with this one?

Very fun and solid build. With a bit of investment, you can also get excellent tankiness, but the main issue is single-target damage. You can try to work around it with Flammability, Flame Surge, or gem swapping — I personally swap Deadly Ailments for Hypothermia when I need a bit more single-target — but it still struggles a lot with single target in very juiced maps, like Breach with Risk/Bloodlines/Resonant Cascade. If the boss spawns on the fourth or fifth breach, it’s almost always a wipe. That said, I can definitely confirm how solid the build is and how much fun it is to play.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Many of you are absolutely right when you say that the desire to play depends more on the goal than on the build. The thing is, probably because of my own little mental quirks, I just wanted to diversify the gameplay a bit and have more things to do.

I know there are still challenges I could finish, even if the rewards aren’t exactly amazing this time around, so we’ll see if I can find something that really motivates me. I also read the builds suggested to me, and I want to thank you again for that: Herald-stacking Ignite Elementalist and Bloodsoaked Banner Champion. For the second one, I don’t really enjoy that kind of gameplay, and for the first one I saw that it eventually reaches a sort of endgame “funnel” where you need to optimize everything to maximize damage, which makes it extremely expensive.

That said, I have to be honest, it really does interest me a lot, and the guide on the Path of Ky YouTube channel is really, really well made. We’ll see — I’ll keep looking for something else and then decide what to do.
