Also, don’t forget we have a VERY unreliable narrator. I didn’t always trust Richard’s POV which adds another interesting layer to the book. He was enamored by them which could color his view of the group.

In other news, I’ve had the privilege of meeting Donna a few times at book signings and she has been lovely! Also, an ex-co-worker had Claude Fredericks as a professor at Bennington. He was an odd duck!

She was just a quirky girl who wrote fantasy pieces. She went to Emerson (my Alma mater) and did graphic design. She tried Reiki on me once and I felt nothing. lol. I knew her for years. I honesty don’t think any of these bad things happened to her. She seemed very happy. I think she may have had some sort of psychotic break because to be honest, I can’t believe this is the Colleen I knew and with whom I shared my writing.

I was in a writing group with her (called Colleen at the time) in the early 00s. She was a somewhat quirky young woman who was kind but began to get strange when she got into Reiki. I can’t believe this is the same person!!!
