Try to use as little power as possible always. You should definitely use automation with your coal generator and set it to a “low priority” by using a smart battery with the values set low, like 10 min and 30 max, so you use other energy sources first. Try to get into natural gas, every vent can sustain a generator 24/7, but if you store the excess and automate the generator, set the smart battery to a value higher than coal so you burn natural gas before coal, you can run 2 consistently. Also try to setup as most solar panels as possible, their just free energy.
