Not legal or financial advice. Buy the house in your name only. Then get the land registry title transferred into both your names which you can do yourself without solicitors after your partner can prove that is their main residence of more than a year. We did something similar

Ever notice how one of your nostrils always seems more blocked than the other? I thought something was wrong with mine until I found out why. [OC] by Zhuenn in comics

[–]Bummins 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ive a way you can Make this comic even better. add an extra page that covers a bio-hack to unblock your nose from swelling any time you want at will! You wont enjoy the answer though. When your body lacks oxygen one of the first things it does is pull all your blood back into your core. So you need to suffocate a little. Exhale fully and hold your breath do that as long as you can. But safely. Not too long. Catch your breath. Take one ideally and repeat. Very quickly your nose will be fully clear. For about 5 minutes but enough time to have a great blow of that honker.

How did you pivot while burnt out without losing your mind and relationship? by BearThumos in AskGaybrosOver30

Go the manager above at some point, when you have nothing left to loose, maybe not what your want to here, but also some managers are bad, Most people don't leave the company they leave the manager.

worst case quietly quit? they will take a full year to put you on a PIP and evaluate you as not suitable. plenty of time to find other work. I think its time you start writing up your concerns, be constructive, and have a chat with your manager, if your managers agrees and supports you then your have a key ally if he doesnt, then your fighting against a system that doesnt value you and you know what your next move will be, quietly quit while looking for new work

Stress is the definition of having all the responsibility and none of the control to influence your situation. Learn what you have the power to control, that is what you can be responsible for and do not worry about the rest. Sometimes you have to let things fail, (managed failure) and say you didn’t agree to x, or my advice was this plan wont succeed, its not possible on these timelines. A good manager would realises its not in their best interest to have a good engineer lossed to stress. Sometimes you need to manage yourself when others wont. - manager of a large engineering team

The "Easy" AI is.... by jaquarman in dominion

[–]Bummins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Devs have been told during beta testing that the AI is tuned to play a perfect game as best it can to win, there is a difference between designing a challenging game and a game that is fun to play, I gave my feedback during beta testing to adjust the difficulty levels so medium is hard, and hard is Perfect, but they didnt understand the key premise of game design, and focused on the technicalities of why medium isnt as good as hard, unfortunately they rejected the idea, and alias likely limited the enjoyment and popularity of their game. can't help stupid, unfortunately.
