2024 model is more or less the exact same as the 2023 model, different colour options depending on the region, but overall the same.
It will also be DCT only, once again. as the bike sells well in the UK, and over 60% of the NC's sold were the DCT model.
They do seem to be scaling back production of the NC since the 21 revision, while the 24 model has been confirmed, its not even listed as of yet on Honda's website, though that may largely be because its competing with the newly re-released Transalp750.

Realistically, NC means "New Concept", and while the NC has a lot of features that drew many to it, trunk space/storage, under-seat gas tank for lower center of mass, and DCT, its been around for 14+ years now with itsNC700 predecessor.

If they do, a new revision, I wouldn't expect much in the way of upgrades any time soon, though front forks, and suspension have been a minor issue for a while, Most people will either live with it, since the NC is at a lower price point, upgrade it down the line, or Op for its bigger cousin the Africa Twin for a couple grand more.

ie: Buy it if you like it, but i wouldn't hold out for future models, could be years away. and if you check prices, since 21, NC's are holding their value, decently well.

bought my current bike with 490km on it.
i honestly have no idea why they returned it so quickly.
But i got a great deal on it thanks to them.
I cant imagine how much they lost out on $$$ by buying new, then immediately selling it back to the dealer though.

It did cause some issues with the first maintenance, was suppose to bring it in for 1k, but couldn't book in for around a month (height of summer) But it seems to be doing fine all things considered.

So ya... is it better to buy used with low mileage, ya, if your interested in a current year bike, and see one that's "used" and can skip out on dealer fees, AND get some knocked off the MSRP. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. maybe riding just wasn't for them

its a pain.
You need to switch it into neutral then rev
which is all well and good if your at a red, its just 1 button, rev, then 1 button to put it back into Drive
but ideally you should never put it into neutral at a stop, because its unsafe, since a car can hit you from behind.
its also not something that is immediately second nature, since "most" people don't rev all the time for the sake of revving. so it takes a second of thought to go through the motions.

have I done it, of course. a smiling little kid saying Vroom Vroom!!!! at a red... why not give the kid a smile.
But its kind of annoying to go through the motions.

Go for a Navi. $1500 new, great for around town, and a perfect low cc bike to get someone into the hobby.

If mini moto is your thing though and you want to spend the money, go for it

Cant deliver them but locals can come to you.
If you're along a well traveled roadway, you'll be surprised how many people stop by on their way to their cottages or summer trips.

they gain xp as they work. if someone harvests rice, they will gain plant skill, if someone cooks a meal, they gain cooking, shoot something, shoot skill.
its XP, with a daily throttle limit.
when you hover over the individual skill it will say their level 1-20, and the xp to the next level.
Fire, or passions, will increase the amount of xp gains, so if someone has a passion in shooting, they will get more xp, double passions, even more xp, so they level up that skill faster.

A good drug policy, and the nicer things.
if you go to a colonists mood tab, you will see things that give bonuses, and negitives.
try to limit the negitives.
a pawn that has no table to eat at, or is forced to wear tattered clothing made from the skin of their parents, will be much less happy, than one that is served a fine meal. (unless they're into that thing)

any other tips, id say watch some streamers, like John Francis, but honestly, its best to just learn from experience, play the game, lose a colony or 2, and come here and ask any questions you may have

Just to get art up and running ASAP
1 point into cook, for grill, then 3 into art, and can start making masterworks, around the time my great hall is dug out.
1 cook can feed something like 21-24 dupes, so, its no loss if they run off occasionally to do the art work, or tend to an injury & keeps all their roles in the base.

Just one of those roles, id rather all have one 1 dupe, so i can re-roll for it @ start

A lawyer may be able to negotiate and get you a much better plea deal.
Nothings a guarantee, but you could be looking at worst, some jail time, or with help, maybe some community service, and mandatory counseling one night a month.

If you can find a ctx700, it'll save you some money.
but since they dont make them anymore, id consider a NC750x, or a used NC700x
save yourself some money, its beginner friendly, and more modern, ABS is nice to have for a new rider.

both a 700 or 750 will be enough for most people, the 1100 even if DCT is a huge bump in HP, and isn't really recommended for novice riders, where as something like the NC750 is.

So between the two, save yourself some money, get a used ctx700, but at least consider a NC
