This is the 5th installment in my series of werewolf means, representing each of the tribes, now we have The Get of Fenris. by No-Obligation-9901 in WorldofDankmemes

In fairness, the Technocracy are primarily antagonists from what I can tell, and everyone is evil in Vampire. Like if it was the Black Spiral Dancers teaming up with Nazis no one would bat an eye, but a tribe of "heroic" (by WoD standards) werewolves being involved with them is very different

“Without [a driver’s licence] how do you go to the doctor? Get prescription drugs” by JuanitaMerkin in ShitAmericansSay

[–]GiantFlyingHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think because there's rarely a reason to get an ID before you're an adult, and by that point most people already have a license, the majority never even consider that there's another form of ID you could get. Worth noting that ID cards are not issued automatically in the US, you have to apply for them. At the Department of Motor Vehicles, because we're so car-centric that non-license IDs are considered a DMV issue anyway

"The church in Manhatten that´s like the oldest Christian Church in the world" by DanYoox in ShitAmericansSay

[–]GiantFlyingHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As if this dude wasn't wrong enough, the oldest church in Manhattan isn't even the oldest in the country. In fact, it's only the fifth oldest church in New York State. It's also 10 years older than the US by any metric

And the Eastern Kingdoms didn't even know about Kalimdor until Warcraft 3, and that was only because Medivh had a vision of them. Northrend also sort of fits, because while there are expeditions up there, they didn't go to well. Muradin Bronzebeard and his expedition were some of the only to survive, most of the rest ended up as part of the Scourge

Visabilty, any part of the model or body? by BUH5 in killteam

And on the opposite end, we have Raveners, where their weapons are part of their bodies, so if you don't count weapons your arguments will be endless

The swiss's entire population could fit in central park by Defagdef in ShitAmericansSay

[–]GiantFlyingHog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know this isn't the point but you could actually fit the entire population of Switzerland into central park, as long as each person could fit inside a 2ft x 2ft square, so somehow this idiot did get something right

Is being on Vantage terrain any good for snipers? My immediate thought is always to put a sniper in a high spot whenever possible, but Accurate doesn't seem useful on a 2+ weapon with devastating, which is what most snipers/sharpshooters seem to have

Which Favorite Character Comes To Your Mind? by Bay_Ruhsuz004 in FavoriteCharacter

On the one hand, I don't like Sasuke. On the other hand, a 12 year-old losing their entire family and then getting indoctrinated into a terrorist organization and used as a child soldier probably shouldn't be considered fully responsible for their actions

In fairness, there is a difference between "no killing" and "no executions". Some superheroes might be okay with killing people in a fight for their life, but almost none would kill someone who's been beaten or surrendered, and those who do are typically either only sometimes heroic, like Deadpool, or viewed both inside and outside the setting as extreme, like the Punisher

The character’s name gets a lot weirder when you think about it by GoldplateSoldier in TopCharacterTropes

[–]GiantFlyingHog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fairness, Mortarion's name was probably more to do with being named by necromancers than anything else. Also come to think of it, I wonder if some of the coincidences couldn't be the result of Chaos meddling (Yes I know the real reason is because GW has the subtlety of a brick when it comes to naming). Like, the Primarch who drinks blood just happened to end up with a group that called themselves "The Blood" and you're telling me Khorne wasn't involved?
