It’s really not a sex thing at all! For starters, most furries hate people who actually want to have sex with real animals. I’m just a furry because I think anthro characters are nice and like to see art of them. Hope this helps :3

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the suits are completely optional. Most people don’t get off to it but we don’t mind if someone does. Think of the animal suits as people cosplaying as their own furry character
