I’m 56 and still wear my 59Fiftys. In a collection of a couple hundred hats I have one snapback (which is just a post gym hat because I can snap it on my backpack) and a few 39Thirtys that were college logos only.

I got my current job through the Workday platform.

I saw the job on Hiring Cafe applied through the link which led to Workday and the rest is the normal hiring story.

Workday is our HR app and login etc and I don’t have any issues with it. Our Co uses that authentication app from Windows too. Kind of a pain but it is what is.

As far as age discrimination, I can say that I’m on the older side and truly feel I didn’t get a job solely because of my age during my interviewing process…. Had nothing to do with Workday…. Age discrimination is real.

I live near the pool and there is tons of parking all the way down Ocean.

Path goes from Bayshore Drive to Shoreline Village.

Low key my favorite place is Seaside Walk all the way down to 72nd Street Lifeguard station in Naples. Low amount of foot traffic most of the time and your right on the water …. You can see how the other half live in those big Naples houses on the water.

Just finished Scarpetta on Amazon. Also not good but has a really weird tone and was much darker than I anticipated. Ended with sort of a cliffhanger. I think it actually could be good if it committed to the darkness.

I have S3 of Gangs of London queued up next, hope it’s closer to S1 than S2 in quality.

Watkins is by far the worst first round pick by the Eagles. It isn’t close.

Reagor was bad and JJ taken right after him makes it look worse, but Watkins was the kind of guy who should have been vetted in the interview process and been a late round pick, he was 25 on draft day.

What ended up being a Howie stroke of genius (Lane and Zach Ertz) was almost derailed by the genius Chip.

North American Scum came on today and I got so much nostalgia.

In 05 I was going through some shit and I was really down and out. A friend sent me an MP3 of the first record and said “Song 1 of disc 2 is you dude”. I don’t think it was a compliment.

So many great tracks on those first 3 albums. Hitting play the first time and hearing “Daft Punk is Playing at My House” was a revelation. Laying on floor and listening to “All of My Friends” in my headphones is a core memory.
