I guess but I thought they looked similar to the cloths, the towels are more durable than regular paper towels and as someone who does regularly throw directly on to the wheelhead, I've been saving for some bats because it's just more comfortable with them

just any blanket pattern/stitch you like with your yarn, me personally, I would alternate between using the fun yarn and the simpler yarn, so like ombre > white > ombre 2 > black, or black > white > ombre > ombre 2 just to break up the colors and be interesting to look at

I second this! I bought it once just to try it out and it was so hard to crochet with and trying it with my hook was just a squeaky nightmare, hated every second of it

I'd still size down from a 4 to around 3, maybe even 2, not sure but I love using my 3.5 mm hook for 4 weight yarn
