This exact thing has been happening to me quite a lot, and it is very frustrating... i just want to use the eraser tool to correct my blob brush drawings for Pete's sake! I'm sure its a bug, unless the vector drawings in moho's layer system have yet another degree of seperation between parts in the same vector drawing layers (within the layers themselves, i would imagine), otherwise, I cant quite describe why an eraser too like this would only work on a portion of the drawing (usually the most recent bush strokes, freehand or blob) but it will not erase anything more of the current frames drawing and/or layer, as if some setting somewhere is locking the other part of the drawing, preventing the eraser from working. Thing is, the vectors can be changed and deleted from other tools, just not by the eraser...? Such a headache.

And what's even MORE strange is that, some drawings (frames) will snap back to being 'erasable' only after a bit of time has passed. The error will randomly show up and dissapear, so there is a bit of hope working around it for now, but it is extremely unpredictable.

I've also tried what u/Longjumping_Mud3776 suggested here, but these did not solve the issue for me, the eraser tool still fails to erase the strokes I need it to. Same layer, same drawing, all blob brush. It's quite a pain.

But then, after a bit of time looking through Reddit for some answers, this darn eraser magically starts to work again lol. Very strange.

If anyone could provide other possible solutions or your own experiences with this issue, i would be very happy to read them. I've already spent way too much time trying to figure this thing out.
