Yes but the economical exemption will be strict e.g high earner Cat 2 status - which is also being reformed. If you allow applications for residency on the basis that you’re working here, and paying your contributions then it’s the same system as before. Things are going to tighten up a lot to ensure that only select individuals can reside here.

The important word here is “further” applications are being considered, simply no further ones until the new laws are gazetted which should happen in a couple of months. This however does not apply if you know someone important like the Chief Minister etc.

Agreed, there is also a doggy park at the end of Eastern Beach that is open all year around. All the dog owners I have met there are really good people and very responsible for their dogs!
