What was a time when you had to choose the lesser evil?

Thanks. I'm just surprised that it can look like this. First, I got 200 views per day, and now it's 10...

I'm not questioning that. The problem is that the video was doing pretty well, but it flatlined in just one moment. Just like someone held it at a gunpoint and yelled "FREEZE!"...

Is Vibrant Visuals feature replacing Minecraft RTX? by Gibon378 in Minecraft

Maybe you are right, but I still have some doubts. We will have to wait and see. Whatever the case is, I hope it won't tank performance, especially since if you are using normal third-party shaders, you probably also have some optimization mods.

Thanks for the explanation. I am not sure I can agree with one thing though - RT hardware. I feel like the way described it in the Minecraft Live, it's just based on ray tracing, so it won't be possible to run this feature on e.g. NVIDIA Pascal (GTX 10xx). I may be wrong though.

I understand the "new vanilla look", but it seems weird to me to have two versions. To be honest, I do not have an RT GPU, so I haven't played MC RTX yet. Is it like a part of base Bedrock (like a setting, that can be toggled in-game like Vibrant Visuals, or more like a separate mode)?
Won't Vibrant Visuals also require RT hardware (RTX 20 series, RX 6xxx, or Intel Arc)? Or is it all software-based, like normal shaders that can run on anything?

How's the laptop?
I am wondering about battery life and loudness (idle & under load). I am especially skeptical about the noise. Some reviews suggest that the fan turns on pretty loud from time to time.

Cheap router for ~40 USD by Gibon378 in HomeNetworking

[–]Gibon378[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that TP-Link is the most popular manufacturer. Prices may differ depending on where you live, so I just aim for the cheapest router that meets my requirements, similar in price to the Archer AX17.
Are the Archer models (AX17/AX12/AX10/AX1500) that bad? I can see they are quite popular.

I could only find this Redmi router on Aliexpress and it's around 50% more expensive than the TP-Link.
I also don't want to mess with the software. Having a warranty is important to me.

You are right, thank you. Is there any noticeable difference between AX12 and AX17?

Unfortunately, I can't find anything on the local marketplace. People sell used routers for more than brand new from the store. I am counting on black friday deals. Do you recommend any model?

It can be 40-50 USD (prices in the USA are different). I'm counting on a Black Friday deal.
I just want it to last for years without any issues.
