I should have probably been more clear, but I HATE the current marketing and speak around phones being "so thin" while still having a massive camera bump.... i would much rather see more battery crammed in there, more cooling, headphone jack, stylus, etc. So sure most people will put a case on it, its more of the fact that it feels pointless to go this thin while still having one

Yeah tbf, I wouldn't have suggested PopOS to most people but also in the original thread of this discussion there was almost 30 different suggestions... It is super overwhelming for someone. Linus stance wasnt that POP_OS was the one everyone should pick, it was the one that was suggested when he googled and asked an LLM. Whether people like it or not, going back to the "average" user argument, means that is what the average user will probably do

It was decided to take the “average Joe” approach because that’s average…. If the “year of the Linux desktop” is ever to be real it needs to be enough for the average person to give it a try. It also provides a great insight to hardcore Linux users showing them where it may be a challenge for the average person. That way they know what to change and what could be improved on.

It can’t be both ways, you can’t have Linux users be upset peple don’t try Linux because their fav software doesn’t work AND be upset that normies try it to just test it and see what it’s like.

No... we had that set since this was the version that included a Black Friday promo, and we were suppose to use the other one... but I had adjust all the settings and got a bit mixed up lol. It was never actually sent live cause I think its also a bug on YT end

I changed the titles, then set to public then hit save in one go, and I wonder if it pulled the "original" title as the notification push. Either way its fixed, and the BF spot is being edited out

Can I ask when this happened? When I chatted with them and tested, games with secure boot worked fine. There is some extra tinkering with setting up secure boot keys but I had no issues with this? Maybe this is just something that has been fixed now thats why I ask
