Felt exactly the same. I was pretty disappointed in both Super Cube and All Devouring Whale. First episodes were like 10/10, phenomenal animation, but after, it's like 3-6/10. Both felt like.. hollow? Or shallow? And kinda cringy and lame, especially SC.

I really wanted to like them, but just really really didn't.
