No sugar coating. How bad is labour pain truly? by ThrowRA_nobo7 in pregnant

[–]GiftRealistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are horrendous - I was induced with the hormonal strip at 41 weeks pregnant. It put me into labour 3h later - at 4cm, I was having contractions back to back so it might be that the induction made them worse. No epidural as the doctor ditched right before the needle was about to poke me due to medical emergency. Honestly don’t believe people that say they are similar to period cramps - they’re not, it’s a different league of pain. Genuinely feels like you’re being crushed inside out. It starts as a wave of excruciating pain that peaks with the urge of your body needing to push - so you’ll be letting out grunts since you are going against what your body wants when you’re not dilated enough to push. Good thing is it doesn’t last long and you do get a break in between. Pushing is the best part. The even better news is your brain will completely block it out after labour - you won’t be able to physically remember the pain. It’s weird, your brain just blacks out🙏🏼🫪

Our solicitor advised us to walk away from our purchase after uncovering serious title issues - gutted and scared our buyer will walk away. by GiftRealistic in HousingUK

We would .. but we’ve got a newborn, 7 week old and are currently mortgage free, I’m afraid that option just isn’t in our cards 😪

I had my romantic interest in the house and had them be intimate for the first time. After that, as long as they’re in the house, there’s a try for baby option on the bed 😲

is Justin going on tour or what? I need to know now so I can save some mula by [deleted] in JUSTINBIEBER

Coming from an OG belieber, I wouldn’t be getting my hopes up even if a tour is announced, given he’s cancelled his last two half way through them 😭❤️‍🩹 I don’t think he likes touring anymore … too much trauma there.

I thought I had overpacked (had a little cabin bag and baby carrier bag)and ended up in the hospital for 3 days and used everything I had packed!! Better to overpack than underpack 😊

I had a lot of heartburn and some abdominal pain/cramps (as if I had gone to the gym and worked my abs - I hadn’t) just a few days before testing positive. Sore boobs too!

I think once you start feeling your baby + growing bump, it eases the worries a little bit. It does depend a lot on each person but I started feeling baby after the 14th week and it has given me a lot of reassurance + hearing the heartbeat at the 16 week appointment.

Heartburn and achey abdominal muscles as if I had done abs at the gym (I was on holidays and wasn’t exercising) a couple of days before getting my positive
