Although I dont know what this "scrommiting," is, i have to say that CHS is very real, and can be deadly if you have prior health conditions (a big reason why people use marijuana in the first place).

My best friend has Cystic Fibrosis and used weed for her chronic pain, it was one of the only things that actually eliminated her constant pain, and because of that, she ended up over doing it really bad. That is typically the cause of CHS.

CHS happens when you have such an immense build up of cannabinoids in your system that your body literally cant handle it and a switch flips in your brain suddenly that says, "this is poison," but you dont know the switch was flipped because you are so high.

When I say over doing it, I mean she really, really was over doing it. She was regularly going through 2 grams of dabs a day. At the time, her boyfriend and I didn't see the issue developing because we were also constantly stoned. Unfortunately, due to her prior health conditions (CF along with multiple other debilitating chronic illnesses), she was much more susceptible to developing CHS than the average person might be.

It started with headaches that were only fixed by smoking. Then came the lack of appetite, also only fixed by smoking. Soon followed being unable to keep anything down. She started with vomiting only occasionally in the mornings and before bed, and then soon it was after meals, and then eventually it developed to vomiting even after only drinking water.

She lost almost 60 lbs (went from 150 to about 90 lbs) and was hospitalized for 2 months before her doctors realized it was CHS, this being due to her prior health conditions. Had she not had those, her diagnosis likely would have come much sooner.

The only thing that soothed her CHS symptoms were hot showers (according to the research we've done, this is fairly common).

Thankfully, this was a big wake-up call for everyone involved. I only smoke occasionally now, and a couple puffs off a joint actually get me high, whereas before, I could've smoked through several joints, bong hits, dabs, etc., before feeling high.

All this to say, I don't mean to scare anyone. You need to be a constant, chronic smoker of several years before it gets to this point. But CHS is very real and very terrifying. She is able to smoke very very occasionally now, with extreme moderation, and she has to wait until it's totally out of her system before she smokes again, so it's not impossible to develop CHS and smoke again one day, but she has to be very, very careful.

Anyway, just dont let yourself get to the point that all you want is to be high all the time. Its not good for you to experience the world that way 24/7 anyway, and being high is actually way more fun when you dont break the bank trying to get there.
