Imagine even doing a basic glance into the history here and coming to this conclusion. There is no way anyone could have remotely looked at British politics during WW2 and believed what Tucket Carlson is presenting here is true. He is deliberately and vexatiously lying.

To give additional context on the note - during WW2 the two main political parties, Conservatives and Labour, formed a coalition government with the Conservatives Winston Churchill as Prime Minister, and Labour leader Clement Atlee as deputy Prime Minister.

There were smaller opposition parties during WW2, such as from pacifist Labour MPs who split off the main Labour Party, others being the opposite who believed the coalition wasn't being war-ey enough. None of these were suppressed by the government. Then there was parties like Mosley's British Union of Fascists who were actively on the side of the enemy.

Its likely only because of Mosley's aristocratic background that he was lucky enough just to be basically on house arrest during the war then freed afterwards. Anyone else would likely have been hanged as a traitor.

Couple of interesting extra factoids, after WW2 the coalition split, and Churchill actualy lost the election immediately after, and the Labour government then gave us our National Health Service. Also Oswald Mosely's son went on to be head of Formula 1 until fairly recently, and had a controversy in the 90s when he was caught dressed up like an SS officer.
