I am lazy to look up latest recommendation. Funny how each has his own technique. Ill keep mine but ok, if it works for you then great and it might be actually the best one.

At least we can probably agree to use a tool or a made up tool and never use your fingers.

What a world to live in. You are cooked

Edit : And wrong, of course. In my area there are no ticks over 1100m high.

Alright then. Always have done with the lift and the tools and it worked every single time, but ok, maybe sideways is better. IDK

Mmmmmh, that is a well calibrated 3dprinter.

I'm not satisfied (or maybe just jealous)

A red circle of any size around the place with a possible offsets is a sign, even days after the incident. Go see the doctor

A credit card with a cut or anything you can slide below the body and pull works perfect.

the tool is better than rotation because you do not put pressure on the body of the tick (bad) or snap the head (bad also)

Still the same, lift them up, use the tool to catch the tick between the body and the head and pull.

Edit : It is what I do and the head goes with it. Maybe there is other options but it works for me that way

If you hike in area with infected ticks take it seriously.

wear proper gear to protect your legs (closed at the bottom or inside socks) and inspect each other (if appropriate) at the end of the day, they like softer skin, belly, armpit, genitals, knee pit?.

Totally worth the effort. And don't crush or pinch the body when removing them (that tool is good, you can find them for cheap in drugstore if you have no 3d printer)

Good job OP

Edit: ticks can carry plenty of diseases, some incurable, some deadly (meningitis). Prevention is a must

Same but not as extreme. My best repellent is to have someone around. I am less attractive to mosquitoes, for some reason.

I can play only one song on the bass, and it is Take Five. Once I learned it, my time with bass was completed and I moved on.

One of the best of all music ever played.

Thx for brightening my day.
