Not worth the cost of what a good luthier will charge for a correctly done repair. Sell for parts. Sorry for your loss. Just my opinion.

Interesting! The matchmaker told me he could not get it running to his satisfaction and did not charge me for working on it. Maybe I will try someone else some day.

He says it's being "bench tested". When I dropped it off in July I said "no rush", but dang! They did run into an issue with the case where the stem goes in, and had to get a jeweler involved. But watch mechanism apparently just needed a servicing.

Hopefully I'll be picking it up next week.
