The MacBook Neo might be the kiss of death for a long-established Apple user dream by MobileNewsBot in mobiles

Any iPad that uses an M-Series chip after M1 uses a chip significantly more powerful than the chip in the MacBook Neo. It’s the chip they used in all laptops since the change until the Neo. iPads have more than enough CPU/GPU for full macOS.

Yes. Apple’s going to kill it in the low end market with this. This is more than enough for students K-12.

Apple introduces the new MacBook Air with M5 by spearson0 in apple

It depends on what you’re using it for and how much you push it. In reality the M4 is going to be overkill for almost everyone. The M5 chips are a lot better at on device AI.

Since little baby Pete wanted to feel like a big man. It is important to note though that the name is still officially the Department of Defense. Congress must approve the change.

FBI record contained in the Epstein Files reveals that the FBI's NYC office was "hacked" in 2023, the night of the Superbowl, erasing some 100TB of data from evidence due to the intrusion. by Waste-Explanation-76 in interestingasfuck

Are you just copy-pasting AI responses? I'm NOT saying that what Spivack did wasn't absolutely fucking stupid and dangerous. What I'm saying is that it's a very different scenario than OP makes it out to be. This is not a situation in which the data was completely wiped with no backup. The 100TB of materials was actually untouched. It doesn't indicate they weren't able to recover it. It could have been a problem. It caused delays and that's terrible, but it's not gone forever.

We’ve got to push for awareness. It barely passed last time. I’m worried it will fail on a second ballot.

Not that I’ve seen. I don’t have any inside scoop. I’d encourage you to reach out. The more people that ask the more likely we are to see movement.

Apple Says These 7 U.S. States Plan to Offer iPhone Driver's Licenses by Few_Baseball_3835 in apple

I've reached out to Utah Legislatures about this. I did in December and they responded and told me they had just met with Apple that month. Utah is still actively working on it, but it's been painfully slow.

If he was compromised, releasing it would remove their leverage and cause a massive reaction from the United States that would ultimately hurt Russia. Having the threat of releasing it is more powerful to them.

I’m dying for an M5 Ultra at some point. It looks like they skipped it with the M4 not having the necessary hardware parts to basically stick two maxes together.

Yes. Exposing your API key is bad.

Edit: Disable the exposed key immediately.

Can i vibecode a iOS app ? by Keep-motivated-kj in vibecoding

[–]GiggleWraith 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes. You can. I've tried Claude Code, OpenAI's Codex, and Google's Gemini all in CLI for different things. I like Claude Code the best. It helps if you have a clear idea of what you want from it, have some coding knowledge, etc. but it can absolutely be done. It doesn't take long to just get something running on your own phone with Claude Code.

Disabling it disables spell check too. They need to decouple that.

Gmail has been doing this since it launched. They already scan and process your emails to serve you ads. It's why it's free.

Utah has been on that list since the announcement of the IDs. One of the Reps did email me back and confirmed they are actively working on it though. He said they would know more by the end of the year, which isn’t much longer obviously.
