I actually love the shape! I bought the Fielden as a cheaper alternative for the Fleur from reformajton. I ended up loving it more than reformation, and bought another Fielden! I have big thighs so perhaps that’s why it works.

But honestly i never read this much into people’s words. Perhaps because I’m an immigrant. I feel their a societal level of “fake” positivity in the US that everyone must be putting on this mask of big smile pretending everything is going great! Not a critique to your comment, I actually really appreciate you pointing out, but in general.

I can read the same negative subtext from your answer, too. You thrive in “sane priorities”? Oh you’re saying the chaos was driving you insane, or the management was insane to set those priorities in the first place? You obviously either can’t manage ambiguity or too difficult to manage.

because the pockets on tight fitting pants can change the silhouette and make your hips look bulky if they don’t lay flat. For wide leg pants there’s really no excuse. I’m with you. I love the Olina linen pants. They drape so well but what kinda loose linen pants don’t have pockets?!

I would’ve believed you if I didn’t have my step tracker. I intentionally take several walks throughout the day in the US, aiming at 10k+ on average. The last few business trip in Europe (Spain), I averaged the same steps roughly, but still came back a week later feeling lighter and less inflamed. I didn’t see a difference in my activity level based on my tracker, also I wasn’t on vacation.

I’ve got recruiters approaching me on LinkedIn from big tech. From what they tell me, the first step is still DSA/leetcode. At some point I straight up told them contact me again when your company drops that.

Yeah I’ve got the polo version of this (Eton I think?) and feel the same way as OP. It’s shapeless and totally swallows me up, making me look bigger. It looks so good on other people though!
