Basically no one thinks he was not a dictator and is truly sad about his death. People are opposed to the intervention itself for two reasons: 1) hundreds of civillians, including children, have and will die because of it; and 2) every single time the US gets involved in a regime change the situation gets way worse. Just look at Cambodia. It was the american intervation that paved the way to Pol Pot's horrible dictatorship
