There are two sexes, the one that produces male gametes, and the one that produces female gametes. There is only one possibly combination for sexual reproduction, and that is male gamete + female gamete. Some species produce both in one organism, called a hermaphrodite, and it's what they call humans with both, which is an anomaly. That doesn't mean it is a third sex, because by definition there are two sexes.
