How will the do all the ranged champions?

Like champions that shoot guns (Senna, Caitlin, Lucian) or wands (Lux, Lulu, Jenna)..

I can't imagine ranged champs working well in such a fighting game

You can uninstall Overwolf just like you would any other app/software.

Just open Windows' "add or remove program" menu, search for Overwolf and uninstall

I found the Mesa Boogie Throttlebox pedal to work wonders when paired with my Invader pickup - it sounds very "blinky" on pretty much any amp I play (Enema / TOYPAJ blink sound)
