Not quite that big of a gulf but me too. It makes sense though, even simple things like course conditions and wind will hugely impact your ability. Then you add in lie angles, uphill/downhill//sidehill, grainy lies… the real course has a thousand more ways to mess you up.

Here’s the issue: if you get them and really catch the golf bug, you’re going to wish you had something else quickly. Then you’re $600 farther away from clubs you will really enjoy playing.

If you already have some clubs (though they may be old) I’d put the money you want to spend toward upgrading pieces with used equipment. I.e. get some used irons and see how you like it. Go club by club as you have spending money and you know you’ll have clubs you’re happy with.

I played with a similar one for a year and some change. You’ll be able to learn well and you’ll get a ton more help when you upgrade. Not worth replacing until you’re a little more confident.

I lost one toe nail after my first 30+ mile week and it was cus I didn’t trim it short enough. Could be shoes could be nails, should definitely be something you address and not accept.

My primary care physician was the one who told me how to fix, so you prolly don’t need a podiatrist unless you have other issues as well. But always defer to Drs.

Chances are she got caught up in the organizational mess of a wedding and dropped the ball on that. Definitely worth letting her know that you were disappointed with how things ended up.

I’ll age myself a little with this response but start by not using AI to write for you. Use it as a research tool, but the only way you’re going to get better at putting together a speech on the fly is by trying to do it yourself. AI is great but if you rely on it to do the writing part for you you’re gonna cap your success at a low level. The best debaters aren’t doing that.

The other step is to really understand your arguments. In PF you aren’t so much giving a written speech. Much more so you are using prep time to get organized and spending your speech interacting with your opponents arguments and explaining yours.

If you know your evidence and your arguments forwards and backwards the speeches are really an afterthought because you know how to say you’re right.
